Who gives af what Miami fans think lol. Baker had success at La Tech and fielded a Top 20 defense at Miami in 2019. They had a bad year this year with some ugly performances but the fact is Miami isn’t as good as they think they are and he’s only going to be coaching LB’s and helping with game plans not calling the plays.

It's pretty irrelevant if Miami fans are happy. They don't like him as a DC, we're hiring him as a LB coach. Mike Nolan has gotten fired multiple times as a DC, but he's a good LB coach, people are bad head coaches but good coordinators, etc.

He coached the LBs at Miami too and everyone regressed LOL. None of our players improved under his tutelage. We're, I'm a UM fan, also happy he's leaving because he was a HUGE liability in recruiting.
Ever since Manny was hired the defense has been top 30-35. The 2019 defense Baker fielded was Senior led so it's not that impressive considering.
Congratulations to you all though. Hopefully a change of scenery and less responsibilities is all Baker needs.
