Contractors aren't hurting for business right now. Why take the job that will be a PITA when they can fill up on reasonable customers?

And the obvious flaws being?
If providing a drawing with the dimensions they will need to develop a quote is intimidating, I guess they wouldn’t want to ever do commercial work. Incidentally we did get one call back from that guy asking for a second copy of the drawing since he had lost it. Still never received the quote. Both contractors were very friendly, made good suggestions and acted interested.
I’d rather them tell me on the phone they aren’t interested in anything less than $30K or whatever if that is the reason.
