MSY Employees are the worst

MSY has the worst collection of misfit employees I’ve ever seen. How do they identify talent? What are their interview processes?
They even frick up Chick-fil-A.

There is a baggage handler that posts here.
He usually is good for flying off the handle so this could get entertaining.

Just think... that’s all that stands between you and a Muslim terrorist.

If I stepped off of a plane and was asked to identify where I landed only by observing the airport’s employees, I could correctly pick MSY 100% of the time.
Never change, NOLA.

They’re NOLA’s first line of charm upon entering the city. The second line can be found in the mayor’s office.

A lot of the MSY (non airline) employees are contractors. Basically bottom of the barrel making $8-$10/hr so the expectations really shouldn’t be too high

Second line of charm is the homeless camp at the corner of Loyola and I-10.

I can only assume that this is another wonderful result of Public Bid Law....low bid wins.

“The fish rots from the head down”- old Sicilian saying
Go find the bosses at the airport and watch their work “ethic” for a week.

Why are MSY employees instructed to put all suitcases soft side down instead of hard? I think it's too intentionally frick up people's stuff.

When they only wanna pay $8 an hour that’s what’s they get.

Another reason to never tip a restaurant worker at an airport! You will never see them again!!

Show up to the interview with clean piss and you are hired. That's like a needle in a haystack in NOLA

Since MSY is under government jurisdiction, do they just use civil service for employees?

Check out Baltimore airport, you have competition for worst service in the industry.

Nothing better than returning home from an exotic stress free vacation in paradise and then seeing a group of MSY employees as soon as you get off the plane back home.
