Wasn’t there at least anecdotal evidence that the kook thought AT&T was fricking with people’s minds with their 5G network?

You mean other than his father had worked for AT&T, and died from cancer which the bomber blamed on AT&T, and e also believed 5G was dangerous. It was all in the news on day two.

Sort of true. He did send people letters in the mail with bizarre ramblings right about the time he set the bomb off. The letters didn't mention anything about the bombing, but it showed he was a conspiracy theorist as he talked about 911, moon landing and aliens.

this was his motive, he didn't have a clue he would take out almost half of the country's internet and cell access
