The Scottish independence referendum was VERY close to passage, and Scotland has been paired with England for 400 years. Today, it would probably pass, due to BREXIT. Do you think England would have fought a war in the 21st century to prevent Scottish independence? Did Europe fight a war to prevent England from seceding?
