Didnt see any topics on him since his trade. But Cavs snagged him for less than what we traded Adams for. I’ve seen a few people say we are basically hoping Hayes turns into him at this point. And unlike Adams, he would match up with our core’s timeline age wise.
Just wondering if anyone thinks Griffin pulled the trigger to fast on Adams and should have waited. I mentioned this in the Adam’s trade but Drummond has also been killing it lately for them and he will more than likely be traded at the deadline. Figuring they got him for a 2nd round pick, that’s probably only what they will get for him.

You can't say anything other than praise about the Adams trade around these parts!!!

All things equal, I would prefer Jarrett Allen.
But I don't wanna know how much he's gonna cost next year
Probably wanting that defensive veteran center to anchor for our team. I don't think Allen was available at the time either. All things considered, it worked out fine.
Now Drummond has been killing it, but drummond is also gonna come into free agency wanting $$$
As it stands, Adams is 3/62.5 (20.8mil/yr) which is probably the middle cost between the other two.
They also contribute differently.

Jarrett Allen or Drummond are not solving this team’s issues
Both guys’ contracts are up and they could not come to terms on contract extensions with the Nets or Cavs.
Allen will become a RFA this offseason and Drummond will be UFA. Predict their contracts.
Adams on a 2/35 the next two years is going to look nice once those guys ink
