Does it surprise anyone else how much across the league, except on the Pelicans it seems, 3pt shooting has gone up not just in terms of the amount but also percentage? There are 22 players shooting 45% or higher this season whereas last season only 3. This season there are 66 players shooting over 40% whereas last season only 28 players did. Some of these numbers may fall as the season progresses but I'm still impressed so far. I'm also kind of impressed that the Pelicans have not one of these players.

This also reminded me how much I disliked not signing Seth Curry. Summer League or not, he looked like he belonged in this league. Kudos to him though for what he's achieved.

Interesting. The good news is that the high supply of such players makes acquiring one of those guys a little easier.
