This is probably clear by now. My colleague coached football for Vanderbilt Catholic High School. His Hc coached at Ole Miss with Ed O as an assistant. My colleague shared with me that his former boss shared with him that Ed O is hard to work for in comparison to other Coaches.

My point was that Assistant Coaches who have worked for Ed said that he was hard to work for, and thus was a reason for not being able to hire a good DC.

good, I'm glad to hear he is demanding of his staff. I had a bigger concern that he wasn't enough.

What CEO doesn't?
I've never heard O publicly blame an assist. He always says "We need to coach better"
He hired Brady to "carry the load of schemes and concepts". Brady did his job and was rewarded.
He hired Pelini to do the same. Pelini failed and is gone.

What's Vandy Catholic ever accomplished in football during your friends tenure? Produced Eli McGuire, that's among the few highlights. Even after it got easier to advance in the playoffs following the split with fewer teams, Vandy's accomplished very little. St. Thomas More, another 4A program, and U-High, a 3A program, have taken turns skull-drugging them.

My brother in law was a DE for Ole Miss when O was there. Said the day he ripped his shirt off and challenged anyone to fight him they all thought he was an idiot but over time the majority of the players loved him but he would act almost bipolar at times.

Uhm...which DC candidate did O lose because he is notoriously hard to play for and regardless of the gigantic salary they would be getting? Just curious.

So is that somehow the reason why Ed O was unable to hire the two guys so for that he offered the job to?
Let's see, the first one accepted the job until he got home and it was vetoed by the dude's wife because Baton Rouge was too far away from home.
Meanwhile, Sean Payton prevented Nielsen from becoming the next DC at LSU.
However, if we are to listen to you and several others, the reason why Ed O hasn't hired a DC is because he is hard to work for?
Give me a freaking break. Even if it were true and Ed O was hard to work for, the money LSU pays it's DCs would more than over come that.

This is exactly the opposite of what coaches that have worked for him have said.

Orgeron has to prove his binder, a binder he claims was a work of fiction: Something Poontangsky cobbled to serve as Orgeron’s “teleprompter” when interviewing with hapless AD and other politician-interviewers! The committee enjoyed the free booze and food and LSU will pay.

Did you ask him to compare the 'hard working conditions' to Saban?
