Pierre Thomas needs some reps with the 1's.

we need to learn if it is the OL that is having trouble, or if it Deuce/Bush's fault.

Deuce looks slow as shite...could he get cut? I dont know. Is he done? It sure looks like it.

Bush is running like a pussy.

Put Thomas in there and see if he can do anything.

he falls forward, too...granted that was against 2nd and 3rd teamers, but Deuce was falling backwards

Couldn't agre more.

I'm not nearly ready to say Pierre should be #1 ahead of Bush and Deuce, but he produced more then Bush and Deuce in his 2 starts last season.

He's producing in the preseason, granted against 2nd and 3rd teams.

He needs more reps in the regular season. And then, if he is still consistently putting up better numbers, then he should keep stealing carries from the other 2. This won't happen, but it is what should happen.

I'm not ready to say that pt shpould be number 1 but i'm like most of you i think we need to see him with the fist team. I would would love to see him and bush in a the same time maybee even have a pass play were brees can dump off to either one of them. pt and bush are both better catching the ball out of the backfield

he ran some with the ones against arizona... for the game he had 9 yards on 9 carries.. id wait and see on him just a little bit more and see if our multi million dollar running backs suck against real competition or not

I know its just preseason, but it really looks like the OL to me. Our backs are just having so much trouble getting past the defensive line. A good line will ocassionally open holes so big that your grandma could run through them, but with this line mostly what I'm noticing is the inability to blow people off the line of scrimmage.

I agree. Just finished watching the game from last night and to me PT runs hard, is quick with his cuts, and can break a tackle. Don't know if he should be number 1 as some has said but his production so far should give him that opportunity.
