I have electric and the new ones are much more efficient than gas. Its basically an Outside ac/heat unit Nd the cost is the same as running an AC

really? i always imagined it to be much more. if that's the case i wouldn't have a pool without a heater.

Does anyone have experience with the cost of gas? That is what I am having installed.
