Giving a coach a big contract extension with a massive buyout then not supporting him to make the program the best it can be under him.
Brilliant.
Media and hysteria on here are spinning it this way, but that so many have glossed over the fact the Saints argued with a straight face that NFL DL coach to LSU DC was a lateral move reeks of bias and spin.

Well, in this case where it mattered most (RNs Saints contract) it was defined as lateral as Nielsen was barred from the move.
