Thought the exact same thing. And that's a 50+ yr old round that every deer hunter in the world has. Guess those old timers half way knew what they were talking about and didn't need internet forums and marketing to tell them the latest and greatest round.

Seems everyone now is just going to throw a long bullet in old established rounds and throw its metric conversion caliber on the name plate and try to trick the public into thinking its the latest and greatest New "6.5 killer"

If most established calibers like 270, 30-06, 25-06, etc., had mass produced high twist barrels like all the new metric fad calibers do, they'd be "wonder" bullets as well.

Especially if they had the 130 grain on there instead of the 150.
