Presuming you and the future ex have not entered into some sort of (judicially approved) separation of community, everything (and I mean EVERYTHING you have bought while married is community property and is owned by both of you equally. Your underwear is 1/2 hers. Her makeup is 1/2 yours. The Jeep rubicon is owned by each of you in the following percentages.....1/2 and 1/2. It doesn’t make even a little bit of difference who’s name Is on the title.
If you have your own business you need an experienced divorce attorney ASAP. CAUSE 1/2 of your business is HERS ( presuming you started it during your marriage).
