People are saying he’s going to go with Campbell to become the Detroit Lions DC.

Deuce just confirmed this on the Saints Radio Network

U serious Clark?

I was a bit aggravated, so turned the channel to Caddyshack as soon as the game ended.

Brees did more for NO than any player ever has. He says one negative thing regarding the BLM crap and the whole city/country forgets all the things he did during Katrina. He is a great example of how NFL should carry themselves. I’m not a Saints fan but that guy could be the face of my team anytime. People today don’t have a damn clue how to be decent. Let’s see what happens to the Saints organization when he retires.

Do you not count hamstringing the Saints organization in Salary Cap in your assessment?

Wow.
I want to talk about a man who led American Forces in the capture of Fort Ticonderoga, providing George Washington with desperately needed cannon. Then this same man led the assault upon British forces at Saratoga. He was grievously wounded, but the victory encouraged France and the Spain to ally with us. Without him American Independence would be impossible. And yet, no roads are named for him, no schools, towns, or statues. His face doesn’t appear on any currency. The U S Navy has named ships Ticonderoga, Saratoga, and Washington. But, no one has named anything after Benedict Arnold.

What you do in the end often completely changes your legacy for good or ill.

He got the shaft. Should have kept his mouth shut from the start.

Initially was one way, team turned against him
Tried to make amends and many fans turned against him and damage with team had already been done.

While this is certainly possible, Campbell is a tight ends coach and not a coordinator. I would think, in his first head coaching job, he will want veteran coordinators to make up for his deficiencies.

If you are going to discuss the possibility of him coming to LSU, at least have the courtesy to spell his name correctly.

Nielsen

This goes beyond spell check or the difficulty of typing on a phone.

It is a simple matter of respect.
