It’s in indefensible call. As a ref, if you want to send a message and get players mouthing off under control, you do that early, not with 30 seconds left in a game. Absolute joke of an official.

The LSU players must have been doing some jawwing, because they had mentioned earlier that they were warned. Warning, or no warning, it's still a shitty arse tech to call in that spot, unless he got in his face and did something ridiculous. If that were the case though, they would have shown it, Wade would have chewed Watford out, and he wouldn't have been wanting to murder that zebra after the game ended still.

That explains a lot. Still cannot believe how inconsistent some of these crews are.
Some of the shite that they weren’t calling on both ends tonight was unbelievable.

College basketball in general has some of the worst called games I've ever seen.
You can bet your arse off that if that same ref is calling another LSU game that isn't absolutely critical, Wade is jumping his arse early and getting that tech he wished he could have gotten tonight.

I don’t think Wade would work in the NBA. Those guys don’t take to tough coaching very well, unless it’s a guy like Pop. I don’t even really think he wants too. I was more worried about a blue blood scooping him up, but that was before the NCAA bullshite. Now, I think he’s here till we fire him or he retires tbh. He’s hated in a lot of basketball circles which is fricking fine by me.

I’ve wondered why I always see guys do different conferences. (TV Teddy for example)

Watford challenged Lawson twice. The second time, after the refs were going to review the call, Watford walked by Lawson. He LITERALLY was in the lane and Lawson at the 3-point line, Trendon had his head half turned not even looking at him. You could see trendon’s mouth moving but he was 15 feet away and not even looking at Lawson. The ref who called the tech was 10 feet behind Lawson. He was easily 25-30 feet away from Trendon and called a tech. I mean it was just utterly shocking.
Not to be THAT guy, but the spread closed at -7.5. We were up 8...I’m sorry but it was sketchy as Hell.
