Need a rental that allow towing ASAP

I bought a boat in Orlando and want to fly in and drive back to Baton Rouge in a rental truck or SUV. What companies allow towing? My preferred Enterprise and Hertz apparently do not. Others seem to not allow one way towing rentals. Ideas?

How in the hell are they going to know if you tow something in a rented Tahoe?

Well they often do not have a towing package.

Whats your total estimate cost to fly, rent, and drive back? Not sure how it compares to using a service like uship.com

I rented a Tahoe back in the summer in Montana and it did. Not sure about Orlando.

Now that I think about it every single Tahoe or Suburban I have rented from Enterprise had a receiver hitch.

Don't want to get there and rent and walk out to the vehicle only to find does not have a hitch or electrical receptacle.

Gotta think about insurance as well.

I checked UHaul. Pickup is not available for one way from Orlando to BTR.

Well what did you buy?

Enterprise allows towing.

I did something similar. I drove 8 hours, got a hotel and a good nights sleep. Early next morning I did an open water test. Signed paperwork and drove 8 hours home. Got to be cheaper than airfare, rental, etc.

Enterprise Truck rental, they have 3/4 ton Ford and Ram trucks and allow towing.

Enterprise: ENTERPRISE TRUCK RENTAL TOWING "With limited exceptions, rental vehicles must be returned to the original location from where they were rented." They open Monday (no truck rental support now) so I will check but the online tool will not let me set Orlando to BR.

Pick up a spare for your trailer when you get there if it doesn't come with one. Just incase
It would cost about $600-700 to have it shipped to you. If thats an option. Not sure what your total is with flight, rental, hotel, gas, etc... Unless you need to put it in the water for a test trial prior.

Thanks, yes, I will travel with a new spare and a bearing kit. Just put a request for quotes at uship; thanks again. I think tomorrow I'm going to go look at Enterprise and see if the larger SUVs have hitches and receptacles

Had my boat shipped from Minnesota using uship. About 1200 miles. The guy who bid on it had about 80 trips and 100% positive feedback. Felt pretty good about it. He even stopped at the store and got me some new transom straps.
