A reading chair is probably a good idea. I have the opposite problem. Some nights, I am lucky to get through 2 pages.

My favorite time to read is the morning - if I have been on a good sleep schedule, I will wake up an hour early to get some pages done before work.

I have a reading chair, but I wake up very early most mornings, and it's nice to be able to read for 20-30 minutes in the dark while the wife still sleeps. Especially this time of year when it's cold.
