Kindle e readers...is the oasis worth the extra price?

Long story short I misplaced my kindle which was a first generation paperwhite with the backlit led
I'm looking to replace it as I have a pretty extensive library that I need to explore.
Anyone with an Oasis that can comment on it. Is it that much of an upgrade or did you have buyer's remorse?

I have the Voyage and the Oasis, no regrets.
The Voyage is still my primary, but the water resistant Oasis has served me well when water is an issue. The bigger screen is nice, and it is a improvement over the Voyage.

If you were happy with the Paperwhite, I can't imagine the additional cost for the Oasis is worth it. I've never actually used an Oasis, but the product description sounds like a Paperwhite with a slightly improved screen display and lighting adjusting. It's over $100 more than a Paperwhite.
I say all that as someone that just now upgraded to a Paperwhite. Being able to read in the bed in the dark has been a game changer.

PM - I'm doing this same analysis for a couple of cycles. Frankly, the Oasis is a fantastic piece of equipment, but I don't think worth the premium over the already outstanding Paperwhite.
I'm waiting to upgrade my old school touch until they get USB-C in the higher end readers and then I'll pull the trigger, likely on an Oasis, but a Paperwhite with USB-C would be a strong candidate.

I have one and love it. I read almost every day so the premium is worth it imo. It's easier to hold and turn pages with one hand. Also I really like that the LED can do a warm white color for reading at night or in the dark.

I have an Oasis that I got after years with the Paperwhite. I absolutely love it. The extra size, rotating screen, the buttons, and the auto-brightness make it worth it. If you get a good case (I got a good one for $10), it turns on and off automatically when you open the cover.
My only complaint is battery life. Using the auto backlight, it burns through battery life pretty quick. Saving grace is that it goes from almost dead to fully charged in 30 min or so.
