Same here, my miss is a massive hook.

I take it too far inside but instead of coming over the top I keep the club inside and hit a massive IN to OUT shot. I got so sick of this hook bullshite I was determined to fix it and for me after getting on video and pressure plates with a pro the takeaway is the trick, but its gonna take a shite load of reps to ingrain into second nature.

Ill record my swing and my mind thinks Ive 100% hit the sweet spot on the takeaway and the fricker is dead shut inside. Only way to kill it for good is mirror work.

I struggle with this too. I started to take lessons in March to fix it and my coach changed my grip as well as constant work on takeaway and keeping my wrists cocked. The best tool he gave me is an old arse club that is hinged. When the club is taken back wrong, the head "breaks." Same thing when the writs drop at the top. I have practiced my takeaway every day, and it has been fixed. It took 2 months of daily use to get my muscle memory built.
