Why not bring Ben Wilkerson home?

He’s an O Line coach for the New York Football Giants. If O doesn’t want to hire Mawae because he doesn’t have any coaching experience, then why not hire Wilkerson.

He is the assistant to the OL coach for the Giants.

Ben is an assistant OL coach not "the assistant to the OL coach"; big difference in those positions. The assistant to the OL coach would be an administrative position and the assistant OL coach would actually be coaching players.

Ben got a little screen time against the Cowboys yesterday. He was on the sidelines doing his thing. Giants OL coach had corona so he was the OL coach for the game, it was nice to see him out there.

He is still mad at Saban for leaving him in the game against Vandy (blow out with 1 min left).

CNS left Mauk in against Florida late in the 4th up by 24 plus and Ben in against Vandy up by over 28. Both suffered season ending injuries. Ben was never the same.
