So next year, Myles QB1 with some MJ packages?

What do we think the plan is? Assuming Myles back healthy of course. What’s the plan?

How about whoever the best qb is through the Spring and Summer, that will be the #1 qb for LSU. Wow, what a concept!

That wouldn't be all that surprising actually.
I suppose it will come down to spring. I would prefer one to stand out over the other as the clear starter but if they are close put the talent on the field

Let em battle it out, that's how you get the "right" choice, we finally have a qb room that will compete their asses off, let's all enjoy the outcome, i'm ready to start spring ball!! Lol

Max is the future. No offense to Myles, but he’s a statue, and if he does try to run, as we’ve seen, he’s a stained glass window. Better arm, sure, but I don’t get why Myles HAS to start when he comes back healthy. Have an open competition in the spring and summer and go with your best guy, who IMO is Max.

Why not just start him? If Myles starts, Max will disappear unless Myles struggles or gets hurt. We don’t do the 2 QB thing.

If you are going to run Maximum Johnson out there you might as well just start him.

It would be dumb to run a two qb system. Very few teams have success with that unless you have one true wildcat package type qb which Max is not. They will compete for the starting position and Brennan will probably get a slight edge if it is even. 2 qb system with two pocket passers just throws offf each other’s Rhythm. They may even try to redshirt Max for a year. However, if Brennan performs poorly than they won’t hesitate to make a switch.

I would hope the plan is to say the QB job is WIDE OPEN and the best player will win it. All have their pros/cons. All had their good/bad moments this season. None have significantly more REAL game experience than the others.
Hopefully competition will drive and bring out the best in ALL of them. Which, in turn, would be best for the team. I have no "favorite" of the bunch. All I hope for is by the time game 1 rolls around in 9 months the coaches can feel confident the guy they have chosen to start is the best of a group that has ALL proven they can win games in the SEC.

Exactly. A good OC is going to pick his guy through competition and who performs well, understands the reads, progressions etc for the style of offense employed.
It's a whole new ball game and everyone will start equal. You don't play who the oldest or the one with the best arm, you play the best.
