What if Ohio St got dominated by ANOTHER SEC team in the NC?

Do you think this would spark enough controversy to finally get the BCS system changed?

No.
Money and power drive the bcs. It is going to take more than just OSU getting stomped again to make things change. It is going to take multiple years like auburn getting screwed or even this past year when multiple teams had a claim to the ncg to get things changed.
And even then, it will take years because of the length of the tv contracts.

The media loves OSU, Michigan, ND and USC too much to leave one of those four out, regardless of what happenned the year before.
Guys like Mike Lupica and Dan Patrick (though they don't vote) don't have a clue what is going on in the college footall world. Then they hear that ND just dominated Navy, Army and Stanford, and tout a three game winning streak.
This will happen as long as there are writers from north of the Mason Dixon Line that keep voting.

Hey guys, either explain what your problem is with me with some specifics or just shut up. I realize I'm new and I may be perceived as "uppity" for posting 10 posts in my first hour, but your bullying tactics are decidedly pathetic. Go find a new hobby other than trying to sh*t on a guy who wants to talk football.

Nobody's bullying you. But 3 of your first 8 posts started new threads. Threads that no one gives a shite about and bring absolutely nothing new to the table.

Simple suggestion: Don't read them then.
Sorry if my threads don't raise issues that are brand spanking new and if that ruins the "purity" of this board somehow in your eyes. If you care that much about a message board you need to go blow your brains out immediately.

You mean like in '06 when the media jumped Forida over Michigan to play in the NCG?

I know you were being sarcastic, hard arse. But I think that could fall under the category of "Threads that no one gives a shite about and bring absolutely nothing new to the table."

They'll be ranked #1 in next years pre-season polls and the favorite to win it all...

Not in the slightest

Possibly. Or a thread aimed at the same ilk on the Saints board who see the entire season collapsing due to a preseason game.

....and the Vest would be considered the greatest coach in the history of mankind for bringing a team to back to back to back national championship games. Every lead-in to every sports show from then until the end of time would start with the anchor saying, "Fear The Vest".

Granted Ohio State has been terrible against the SEC but no doubt this is a quality program. Whenever someone slams the Big Ten they don't seem to mention Michigans record against the SEC. Bowl games the last two years are 3-3. Both are great conferences.
