I'll be eating some leftover roasted buckeye nuts for Appy St. :dude:

C'mon, you know it's nice to see those double-digit days go away...

Awwww yeah.
crazy hypothetical

Would Perrilloux be eligible to transfer back to LSU next year, say, if our current QB's stunk it up this season? This is admittedly kind of dumb, but I'd like to know anyway.

Perry Riley is an upgrade over Ali Highsmith.
Whoa. Care to substantiate that one?

Centers captain the line, are responsible for picking up the blitz packages, and generally responsible for the other team's middle backer on running plays up the middle. Ummm, yeah, I'd be worried.
Good points. What do you think about the initial thing I raised about the lack of development of the relationship between the new QBs and Brett? Do you think that's going to be much of an issue?

3 of your first 8 posts started new threads. Threads that no one gives a shite about and bring absolutely nothing new to the table.
Simple suggestion: Don't read them then.
Sorry if my threads don't raise issues that are brand spanking new and if that ruins the "purity" of this board somehow in your eyes. If you care that much about a message board you need to go blow your brains out immediately.

I think Highsmith did a damn good job last year.
Me too. Too bad he's gone. :wah:

Hey guys, either explain what your problem is with me with some specifics or just shut up. I realize I'm new and I may be perceived as "uppity" for posting 10 posts in my first hour, but your bullying tactics are decidedly pathetic. Go find a new hobby other than trying to sh*t on a guy who wants to talk football.

Ding! Damn, what a great comeback. I guess I'll just shut up now.

Do you think this would spark enough controversy to finally get the BCS system changed?

Riley & Shepard will be solid and develop into top LB's in the next few years.
I just recently learned that Riley & Sheppard played HS ball together. Somehow, I think that chemistry will really help them come along.

Does anyone disagree with Doc? I don't want to, but I think there's another side to this argument...
How worried should we be about our Linebacker corps?

A friend of mine, who goes to a rival SEC school which shall go unnamed, says that our LB corps is the mushy cream-filled middle of our defense and that teams will abuse us on short 5-10 yard passes up the middle.
What say you?
What say you?

Anyone know if Brett has been able to stay in shape during this injury?
re: Hester Lauded For Toughness
Posted by Happy Holliday on 8/20/08 at 9:06 am to SECBengal
I'm glad to see he's done well in 2 preseason games, but let's not kid ourselves yet. There's still a long way to go before we can say Hester is a good NFL player.
What's the impact of Brett Helms' injury on our young QB's?
Posted by Happy Holliday on 8/20/08 at 8:27 am
When Brett comes back around, how big of an adjustment will it be for them? I was never a QB, so I'm not really sure just how vital the development of the relationship between QB and center is.
