It makes a difference when your season starts on a marquee date instead of starting at the end of October in the heat of football season.

This is an example of a lie that technically isn't one.

Write it down, remember it, apply the concept to everything the media tells you

The marquee primetime game, Mavs-Lakers, was down 20.1 percent from last year and a whopping 32 percent from 2018, a game which featured LeBron and the Lakers versus the not-yet-depleted Warriors. Prior to 2018, the marquee Christmas Day NBA game was in the 5:00 pm ET window, rather than at night. This season’s marquee game had the lowest viewership since 2007, according to the historical ratings chart from Sports Media Watch.

I think they are also trying to include youtube viewership. I don't believe a word of it. Chinese slavery and chinese propaganda go hand in hand.

It’s called spin. The ratings are down across the board compared to last year at this time, but they try to compare it to opening week of a normal season that goes up against the NFL, college football, etc.

Pathetic.
