I set my PS5 up last night, downloads and save files. Turned it on this morning and everything was fine. Fired it up a few minutes ago and it took me to the initial start up screen, had to redo everything.
Anyone hear of this problem? I don't want to have to through this again after today.

What happens if you get the email from Sony that your spot in their queue came up, but then you miss it? Can you just re-enter the queue again?

I saw a few Xbox Series X and OLED Switches physically in store at Target yesterday. I definitely think it is starting to turn a corner at least for those systems. I still know people looking for PS5s.

Well, I ordered about an hour ago and my account us still not showing the order. I'm getting worried. I did get an order confirmation email as well as the game pass and gift card codes already though. Maybe their website just updates orders slowly?
I've heard rumors they have a huge inventory to release.

I just got one thru Costco. Xbox X bundle with controller for 570 total. You do need to have a member number tho.

I think the GameStop bundle is pro members only as well, or it was initially when it dropped yesterday.

Costco must have received a large inventory because it’s still showing they have stock and I ordered mine a hour ago.

It was not PRO members only last night when I ordered around 6pm EST.

Yeah I got stuck in line for the PS5. Started with 35 mins and got all the way down to 10 mins and then stopped. Been that way for almost and hour now. I feel they are sold out but its so hard to leave the line.

So an update... the drop was on the 21st. It still hadn't shipped by earlier today so I called customer service for an order update. He said it was the largest restock of series x units they have had since the initial launch. They had stock for 8 hours while available to non-pro members. It shipped about 2 hours after that, I'll have it tomorrow.

I'd like to thank whoever mentioned the hot stock app. Works really well. Got a regular PS5 today from Target. They were gone in about a minute. But I had about 30 min to prepare to buy it. I'd recommend. Only tracked it on the app for around 1-2 weeks
