Devin White played when he felt like it. He’d have a game where he played great, then the next few games he’d get beat every play...probably the most inconsistent player the past 5 years but that’s not this thread.

This is the dumbest shite that’s ever been posted on this site

Devin was full fricking go from day 1 and never slowed down

after that we played Georgia 1 tackle

He had 13 tackles against UGA. Are you high or stupid?

Like I said he would have a great game where he was approaching heisman level of play, but he would then follow up those excellent games with slightly above average games.

But you said he only had one tackle against UGA

He had 1 tackle by himself in the Georgia game unassisted. I asked player not players helped by others.

Ok, so who gets credit for the tackle? Were the other players slacking off too because they needed White's help? Can't have it both ways bud. Having a swarming defense and multiple guys crashing the ball carrier is a good thing. 13 tackles shows White was always in the middle of the play. Doesn't really support the notion that he "played hard when he felt like it." Just walk away from this thread. White gave as much or more effort than any player we've ever had. Really the only knock on him was he over-pursued on plays sometimes trying to speed rush to get to the QB. That's not a lack of effort, which is what you have insinuated this entire thread.

Hiesman level of play + above average = pretty damn good

Devin White came to LSU to be a running back ...he switched to defense because the team needed him too

Just imagine if D white would have come back with the 2019 team. Its still the greatest team ever at LSU but that would have been crazy. To answer your question D. White on Defense and Joe Burrow on offense.

J. Burrow
D. White

Tre White

Stingley appears to have the potential to be one.

Didn’t say I hated him. I only expressed amusement at the notion that Stingley is among the Best all around players over the past 5 years. For your New Years resolution, resolve to work on your reading comprehension skills.

It means who was the best all around player....not a trick question.
Football isn't really an all-around sport. Positions are highly specialized.

Best all around? What does it mean? It's not like the players play multiple positions. Dumb question.
