Going to get mine done soon and starting to look around for prices. Want EGR and DPF done and wondering what the average cost would be.

What is this and why do people do it?

Depending on your level of mechanics and year model you can do it yourself in a day for little cost.

deleted mine 80,000 miles ago power is night and day Picked up around 2 mpg but truck has been dependable since. Cost was around $2500. Did full egr delete with shift on the fly tuner.have a straight pipe with resonator but kept stock tip so as not to draw too much attention. Will role coal when I get on it. Also upgraded the turbo pipe

I believe in the new F-250s there is a programmer that will shut off the EGR without having to actually remove it. I’m not sure of the DPF. I imagine you still have to drop it and install a new exhaust. I’m absolutely no expert but one of my subcontractors did this on his 2018 platinum.

Yeah, I had one once. Deleted its arse after a couple years, then deleted the delete file

Deleted mine at 60000 miles. Has 150000 now. I did just blow my turbo last week. Cost $5000 to repair. I also did the cab bushings. Installed Daystar and they were worse than the oem ones. Went back with oem after about a month
