Its gotta be close. I've been living there since the hurricane (outside the city limits), and while its extremely trashy, the residents who live inside the city limits of Ville Platte may be worse. I can say that since I lived in VP for 19 years of my life.

Crowley, Rayne and Abbeville are all interchangeable with Jennings

The documentary highlighted the worst of the worst in Jennings. It’s trashy but not much different than what you find in small towns across South Louisiana.
