Tony at 5 dimes banned me for betting incorrect live lines. For instance often times they’d reverse a -300/+250 line in live betting so if you were watching for it you could jump on it. What they would end up doing is they’d end up cancelling the bets due to “line error” and ban the players that bet the line, sometimes only waiting till the game was almost final. It was complete bullshite since it was the book’s own errors and sharp players should bet lines that are in their advantage.
I’m interested to see if US books have the same policy, I doubt they do. In Costa Rica, the books had all the power and treated players like shite. In the end however, Tony got what was coming to him and was murdered down there. No way a book like Draft Kings does that. They probably honor all bets that bettors make regardless of line.
And arbitrage line shopping only occurs if the line moves at the same book and you bet both sides. Rarely it ever moves enough to create advantage. Different books you can do it like -125/+150 which is 4%. Every gambler would take that edge but rare you can find it enough times. I ususally bet both sides in live betting as a hedge to lock in a win

There aren't many games that offer arbitrage.
The guys that do it often use sports options which is expensive live odds on nearly every book. It's like watching the stock market.
Ive never messed with it because it's not often enough you get the opportunity.

correct me if i am wrong, but is this:
team A: risking $100 to win $150
team B: risking $125 to win $100
team A win:
+$150*0.9 - $125 = +$10 (to you)
team B win:
+$100*0.9 - $100 = -$10 (to you)
The juice is already included in the price.
If team A wins, then it is:
Team A wins $150 (payed back $250),
Team B loses $125
Therefore, the net result is +$25
If team B wins, then it is:
Team A loses $100,
Team B wins $100 (payed back $225)
Therefore, the net result is $0
Basically, there would be a freeroll on Team A.

In the end, how much money did the man make or lose?
With arbitrage you have to dump money in it to make money. If all you're making is $5 there is no point in it unless it's just for fun.

An old hand told me once "They build those fine Casinos for you to come take their money", it took me a few lessons but I finally learned.
betting is a bad proposition and you will get your arse handed to you sooner than later.
Goof around with friends but leave the big stuff alone

So MGM instituted major limits on my betting amounts, the party is over. Made an easy $3000 in 4 months without risk. Ironic thing is I was actually net negative on MGM and way up on other sites.
