I’m a fan of Curry. He’s a solid back that has earned the opportunity to be the featured back. I’d bring in Emery for a change of pace if he’s questionable. See if he can go, if not then move down to the next guy to spell Curry.

Curry may not juke someone out of their shoes but he’ll inflict punishment for attempting to tackle him straight on.

They’ve given him the opportunity to be the featured back. It hasn’t turned out well.

Same here.

In 2018 they would insert him in the game and EVERYONE on defense knew he was getting the ball. Thus, he ended up getting blown up in the backfield as soon as the got the handoff. Didn't complain.

Last season he was 4th on the depth chart. Didn't complain. Burrow recognized his commitment and heart. Lobbied for him to get the start vs. Oklahoma in one of the biggest games in LSU history and he came through.

This year has been a struggle for all the RBs. Curry is a guy probably more reliant than the others on the OL creating a seam for him. After about game 3 he was (understandably) moved down to being the 3rd string back. Yet, vs Florida he stepped in and performed admirably. Essentially taking all of the important snaps down the stretch.

Is he the most naturally gifted RB LSU has ever had? No. But that guy has had every reason to leave the program and he hasn't. In fact, at a time when it looked like the team was imploding, he, as the 3rd string guy, tweeted about owing a responsibility to "get it right" for all the LSU players that came before him.

It's easy to be "all in" when things are going well. You wish all of your big time talented players had the attitude Curry seems to have...in good times and in bad.

Most of the time when Curry takes on a tackler head on, this happens:

He’s not this bruising, beast-mode, truck of a running back you describe. And his vision reminds me of Trent Richardson’s NFL career. Not sure what you’ve seen.

That said, he did have some nice runs against UF, and I hope shines tomorrow.
