Yeah, not at all. Bass was MUCH thicker than Leblanc. He was a good 25 lbs heavier.

Leblanc is built more similar to Jordan Mickey. Both were about 6'7", but had tremendous length.

Yep. The length is bothersome and he showed great anticipation. Not just on the putbacks. He was like a condor out there at times and just swallowed up rebounds. Plus, he didn't look uncomfortable guarding out on the wing. A few time he surprised the ballhandler by poking the ball away when it looked like he had no shot to reach it.

Considering it looks like this team is going to be inconsistent on defense, as a whole, this year, I can't imagine he doesn't find his way into the starting line up (or at least starters minutes) by SEC play. He's too good on defense and the glass.

I get what you're saying. I will clarify. Compared to the other guys on the court, his physicality stood out in a way similar to Brandon Bass. Grown arse man bodies. Not necessarily shaped the same way, but both physically developed.

I don't remember Mickey's shoulders being as broad as LeBlanc's, but Mickey also just seemed to be slimmer.
