Did anyone else notice Finley get up off the bench, and walk away from Max after a good drive? To me it looked like he had sour grapes not being in the game, and supporting who was.

I don't think creating unconfirmed drama is a good idea.

With the right coaching, both of these guys will be great.

Yes, it was clearly noticeable regardless of what TJ supporters say on here. I support TJ, but what Max did last night is what a true leader looks like. Everybody played better with Max as our starter last night. We didn't necessarily see that with TJ when he started and he even had more talent around him than Max did last night. He had some great drives and some promising spurts, but let's be honest, they were few and far between.

TJ knew any potential opportunity of him starting again is likely very slim now. Hate to see it for the kid, but that's college football...and life in general.

Congrats to Max. He took advantage of his opportunity and knocked it out of the park.

It was not “clearly noticeable”. It was a 2 sec clip.

Y’all have no idea how Finley was the rest of the game, in the locker room, or in practice.

Y’all are simply drama queens.

Drama queens? It's just an observation. If you didn't see some sort of tension between the two, then you are a terrible observer. Idc who you are, no body is going to be in a good mood put in the position TJ was in.

I generally don’t draw conclusions based on such a small sample size.

But you are right in that I doubt TJ was happy to lose the starting job.

But not being happy about losing the job doesn’t automatically translate to being a bad teammate.

Nothing I love more than grown men trying to psychoanalyze teenagers based on two second clips

Not saying he's a bad teammate. Hell, I'd probably be acting the same as TJ if I were him. I feel bad for the kid, but extremely happy that Max looked like the dude.

Never gave it a second thought. In fact, it never entered my mind.
