BTW, do you guys have the original high resolutioon of that picture? I just got a new laptop, and I have been looking for the original without the schedule for my background.

I don't know if you mean the original of tiger stadium with the orange horizon or the original with lightning pre-schedule. Here's the one with the lightning.
I took the lightning pic in Gulf Shores and yurintroubl did an awesome job of merging the pic with Tiger Stadium

I'm thinkin' I may have some questions for that seller....
And a bat.....
EDIT: The more I look at that print, the more it pisses me off. Not for using the pic exactly, but for using such poor quality printer and paper.... and frame... making it look like crap.

I was thinking about doing that too, but I was having a hard time staying objective about it . . .
You may not get a reply if he's a TD member or lurker...
I really want to find out who the stadium photographer is... On the off-chance he/she has the image copyrighted or whatnot... I know that I'm not trying to profit and all...
I'm thinking about bidding on that print for like $700 - although I'm not sure I have that kinda money on my paypal account....

Edit: Oh and I'm pretty sure the original photo is copyrighted because the other day I went to Chevron in Abita Springs and they have the PetroTV and on an advertisement for the upcoming season, that was one of the pictures in the montage. I would think something like that would have a copyright.

Good to know - I don't think the photographer would take issue with us using that image non-profit.... I'm about to search for that first time it was posted on the Rant and open it in notepad - see if it has embedded copyright info... Out of curiosity....

What a douche. Yurintroubl, live up to your name and get that guy in trouble, report it to ebay, it won't do much but they'll remove it and mess up his account.

LSUFreeks farks are everywhere. I am going to start putting a non visible watermark on mine just for this reason. I have had a few things I made make their way back to me in e-mails and such. It's funny how fast stuff we make on here spreads.

I went through this many years ago with others. The picture is the property of the photographer, unless he was hired by an outside source to take it. Now we can change it to make something for ourselves or others at no cost. But it is when we start charging for it that is a gray area. Many factors are involved within this gray area.
