Just curious, not flaming, but why couldn't your "real" QB beat out Lee or Jefferson this year?

Hey guys, USC farker here who some of you might remember from a summer ago. I was new to farking, and received a lot of help from the kind people here. Anyhow, being long-winded at 1:27 AM sucks, so I'll cut to the chase. I unwillingly switched from Photoshop to Gimp (dont ask) and I need help with the new program. What tips do you guys have? Also, in doing my first fark with Gimp... I can't find out how to resize a picture on a new later. WTF?

Anyhow, I'll tell ya how to do it via photoshop and you can translate it into gimp-speak but you basically make the text on a new layer, rasterize that text layer and make it's opacity however high you want (I suggest 60%). Best of luck.

The learning curve honestly isn't that steep if you have a clear, realistic objective in mind regarding what you want to accomplish with your Photoshop. I'd imagine if you want to get to the level of the elite on these boards, the learning curve would be excruciatingly steep. If you want to use Photoshop recreationally to squeak out the funny .jpeg here and there, it's pretty easy to learn. Essentially, if the latter is your goal, Google queries of tutorials you want and the learning curve is pretty easy. Took me about a week to start getting halfway competent, but you should aim higher than me so it should take you 1-2 weeks.
