Anybody ever been? How are their margaritas.

margaritas are average. I enjoy the food though...I use to go there about once a week.

Are the marg as strong as everyone says? I hear they are pretty killer

There used to be a niteclub next door that was known for needing the law... Is that still there?
I over heard someone last night give two thumbs up for the food and the Marg's.

Shenanigans is next door. Considering nobody goes to Shenanigans until Casa Maria is actually closed for the night, not sure how that should factor into your decision to eat there.

My buddy actually owns this place, the food is pretty decent and the margaritas are good, I know that on the margarita nights it is hard to find a place to park. About the club, I work 2-10 and there not many people there.

Tell your buddy he needs more tequila in the 'ritas

I'm being serious, and I'm not bashing the place by any means...the food is excellent, my favorite is the pizza...but I can drink about 6 margaritas and barely feel a buzz

Do you call him by his Mexican name or his Arab name?

My buddy, he used to be my college teacher and you laugh he has an Electrical Engineering degree. His name is Majed Mohammad but they call him Mario, Super guy. When I say work 2 to 10 I work elsewhere, you read a little into that because I was talking about the club at that time, What night club other than a strip bar you know that opens at 2 in the afternoon?

Is the food the same as the other Casa Maria locations?

Pretty much, the owners stay in the loop with each other (two are brothers). I'm not a huge fan of Casa Maria in general, but I prefer to eat at the College Drive location because of the specific cooks there. The owners are Palestinian, but they take the restaurants seriously, they're really good guys.
