He is a good offensive coach and is a personable guy. But he’s got a lot of stank on him, his Browns tenure was real bad. That’s likely as much Browns as it is Jackson to be fair.

It would be an incredibly difficult hire to sell. Replacing Linehan with someone who is pretty damn similar on paper would be hard.

his first issue was, ironically, his coordinator choices

2 former HCs who both knew they were better coaches than he was (esp Haley, who is a supreme a-hole)

i think all of his issues that led to failure as an NFL head coach wouldn't be negatives in college, especially in this role. he's a players' coach and is respected/liked by players

Hue Jackson wouldn't be bad in a Mickey Joseph role.

He would be a great recruiter
