UGA clearly has more talent than LSU, always has. We produce far more talent in the state than LA does. Granted we're not always able to keep the better ones since UT, Auburn, Bama, UF, Clemson, FSU, SC, etc. have raided our state over the decades, but since Richt has been here he's done a much better job locking down the borders.

No I don't, I think he's a great QB and so do those that get paid for their knowledge of the game as well. Sorry that little LSU forum haters opinions don't amount to a hill of beans

I'll give them the more talent nod if it means we beat both of em during the season......

Seems fair.

The lack of respect Georgia gets around here is mind blowing.

You will see by the end of the season. Georgia will lose 3 games this season.

they haven't recruited the classes that LSU/UF has the past 5 years

they have had major holes at OL 2 years in a row, due to a gap in recruiting

they don't have top WR talent

their defensive back 7 is nothing special, especially from a pure talent standpoint

and last I checked, they still don't have a Bulldogdroppings.com... so yeah... they are in sucksville, basically!!

unless he takes a major step forward, he will be a huge bust if he's picked in the 1st round

he's not tall, not mobile, and not accurate at all. he has a rocket arm and that's it right now

nah, but the two are comparable ...Atlanta area is a beast and will continue to be ..Bill King says it right when he says it's a hotbed of nearly 6 million people... talent comes and will come from ATL

It'll be interesting to see how bad Katrina hurts Louisiana's talent from families that have left and will never come back, but that will be tough to realize obviously

and got beat deep a lot

Totally Disagree!

He was clearly our lock down corner. Compared to other corners with faster 40 times he clearly did not get beat a lot.

maybe, but NFL GMs disagree right now... it's all conjecture until it happens

To say he's not capable to lead UGA to go wherever they need to go is ridiculous and that's the bottom line...look where we got with Flynn and Mauck for God's sake

OSU's gameplan passing was to pick on him deep. i'll leave it at that

because the draft has happened?

yeah which is why i don't see why you're projecting him to be a top pick right now

he hasn't proven it on the field. he doesn't have prototypical height and he has a big arm. that's it

quote:

he needs to improve

he's not accurate and he tries to do too much and turns it over a good bit

UGA doesn't have the defense mauck had, and he threw for like 64% in 2003. mauck did try to be a gunslinger and it cost us, but we had the D to make up for it, and he had about 10 points advantage in accuracy

flynn didn't try to be a gunslinger
