LSU has a real good chance to beat Ole Miss, and if we do, we are 4-6.

I think LSU will be a slight (Marlon) favorite going into that game.

I'm not saying that game will be an automatic win, but blindly assuming we lose that game (like a lot of you are) is just sickening.

Have some respect for your fandom of the Tigahs.

Yeah. Neither is good. What am I missing here for a team that went 15-0 last year?

What are you missing? The fact that all the playmakers (besides Stingley) off of last’s year team are gone.

Ole Miss will score 56 points on us. Can we score 57?

OM is definitely winnable.

Would be a big help to end this season on a W imo

About 34 players. And then coaches on top of that. And no spring practice. And weak national leadership which led to uncontained pandemic.

You’re right. I think every team that wins a national title and loses that many players from here on out is going to only win 3, maybe 4 games a year. It’s the new normal.

Considering this was a 10 game conference only season with no tune up games to work the kinks out and we lost our starting QB, it’s not that surprising.

Stingley, Stevens, Marshall, plus a bunch of 4 and 5 star talent that has been waiting their turn. You’re right, 3-7 or 4-6 is acceptable.

I'd take away the real good part. Sure they could win, but LSU might open up as a dog in that game. Think about that.

And 4-6 this season equates to a 7-5 season with the normal schedule. Good? Of course not, reasonable given the players that left and have gotten hurt including starting Freshman QB? Probably. I think most would have predicted an 8-4 year so marginally below those expectations.

But of course, LSU fans are notorious for having catastrophe syndrome which is what this site has become.

Based on going into Fayetteville and beating Arkansas, which is at the same level as Ole Miss currently.

Again, not guaranteeing victory, but we have a 50/50 shot.

If I have to die on this hill, so be it.

Were you seeing some of the predictions for this season 5-6 months ago? Not many people were saying 8-4. Not sure where you’re getting your info from.

Unanimous consensus was 2 losses maybe 3 according to this board.

we not blindly assuming anything. We're looking at reality - our defense is awful and Ole Miss' offense is excellent. They'll score 50 on us. To win, we'll have to outscore them. Can we?

is there really any difference between 3-7 and 4-6. Both are horrific.

LSU has only beaten one team that hasn't fired their coach this season. Two wins against teams that were so bad, they wouldn't even let their coach finish a shortened season.

That was before the opt outs and loss of our only upperclassman QB
