He can be offensive coordinator, quarterback coach, and bring his nephew who is the top quarterback in 2023 in a few years! After we fire coach O, Peyton takes over! Win

I can’t see Manning being a coach.

I knew the coaching changes board was wild but this is next level.. he’s never expressed any sort of interest in coaching. Most people thing he will be an NFL GM someday.

One thing, I guess, that I just don’t think that I’ll probably get into is coaching, if you will, in the NFL,” Manning said. “Or, people say, ‘Why don’t you go back and coach in college’ or whatnot. You know, the truth of it is I’m not sure I would be as good of a coach as people think. Being a coach takes a certain skill and just because you were a successful football player doesn’t mean you’re a good coach. I like teaching. I like teaching football. I like teaching young quarterbacks, answering questions, paying it forward. So maybe eliminate that.

The real question is, “why is LSU’s program a dumpster fire everytime a Manning comes along?”

Is Archie sabotaging the Tigers to keep his kids/grandkids looking elsewhere?

Speaking of which, I binge-watched a season of Peyton’s Places. Very entertaining with unique aspects of NFL history. The Manning/Favre episode was great.

With that said, his expert knowledge of the game along with his folksy self-deprecating humor would be perfect for MNF color-analyst job or something. His lifestyle is pampered and easy like Sunday mornings while still loving the game.

I don’t see him ever choosing to run a program. Kind of requires a control freak and sacrificing free-time & family 24/7/365.
