in my remodel, we did a kerdi shower (on pier & beam) and it was ice cold with a rock floor. i would definitely go shower if you are doing it elsewhere in the bath

Didn’t include the shower, but our hot water takes 30-45 seconds to warm up so the floor isn’t terribly cold.
You can figure up pricing using sq ft and looking on Amazon. If they ever go out, they are done as they’re under tile.
