Amazon had the NOCO boost 50% off on Monday. I bought the 1000 amp for $63. It is supposed to jump start a V8 gas and V6 diesel . It’s on its way.

I bought the 1500 a few weeks ago. My son had trap practice and my mom who was staying with us after getting out of the hospital, went with us.

She said in the truck but left the door open for the entire practice. I wasn't paying attention as I was keeping score for the team. After practice truck was totally dead. One of the guys had one and was perfect.

Got home and ordered me one.

I have a NOCO 4 bank charger on my duck boat and will NEVER own another boat without NOCO on it. Great products. Ima get one of the boosts...i didn't know they made them. Thanks!

I was about 40 miles off Jupiter Inlet years ago, alone, and while trying to gaff a king my motors shut off. No biggy, gaff the fish, get it in the ice, crank up and fish on back to the hill. Turned the key....nothing. Talk about a puckering experience...of course being the mechanical genius I am and a god at sea as soon as quit screaming like a girl and hyperventilating I start looking for reasons it won't turn. Only thing I can find is the batteries just aren't hot enough...easy to fix on the hill, not so much in the middle of nowhere. We had a small solar panel on the T-Top and an on board charger and the batteries seemmed fine when I left the hill. I keep looking and I find that the solar panel wire is lose....plug that sucker up and it would turn over slowly...so I think, maybe it'll charge enough before dark to crank them and I can head to the hill....about an hour later with about an hour or so of sunlight left and try it...no change. I am really freaking out now LOL...I have good idea where I am and I know if I can get them cranked I can make it back to the hill. I had enough power to call on the radio but at that distance it may or may not work....I take a bait knife and cut the solar panel connector out of the circuit, strip the leads, twist them together...and VROOM!!!! Fired right up...when I plugged the onboard charger up that evening the outlet was tripped....I never noticed it and it crunk fine...but apparently the alternators were in need of replacing...if not they were replaced anyway....I always checked that outlet after that from then on...if it hadn't been for that $30 solar panel, which I bought and installed on a lark and as an experiment as much as anything, that story would've ended with at least an expensive tow.
