Got my GooLoo delivered late this afternoon. It was 50% charged so I hooked it up through the included usb/mini usb cord and waited till a few minutes ago for a full charge.

I plugged up the included battery clamps and got a small screwdriver to push the boost button on the side of the jumper adapter. Sat down, turned the key and it worked! 2 whir whir and then the engine turned over. And the thing is still showing fully charged.

Since my Mitsubishi is just a small 4 banger I bought the $40 smallest version. But I was wrong on country of origin. On the back it states made in China.

Thought I'd give an update to the board since the original thread OP was looking for gift ideas and some others were considering similar items for self and gifts.

I tell everyone I can to get one. Little thing has bailed me and many others out numerous times. Best satisfaction is when someone laughs at it and it starts their truck with no issue.

seriously these things should come standard issue with all cars and trucks now...the battery pack jump starter could have its own cutout in the back with a built in charging port. would put a big dent in AAA business

it’s amazing how convenient it is. I’ve used it a ton now since working from home I have a truck that sits for weeks at a time without starting

Amazon had the NOCO boost 50% off on Monday. I bought the 1000 amp for $63. It is supposed to jump start a V8 gas and V6 diesel . It’s on its way.

I have owned a few. Well worth it. They should be standard in cars now. Some form of trickle charge while the car is running to keep battery full

I carry a Weego jump starter in my boat. Also in vehicles.
