Of course a Saints fan would make a Derrick Henry thread about Alvin Kamara. Kamara isn’t in the same tier of back as Henry. Yeah he gets all of his cute little receiving yards a while Murray does the dirty work, but Kamara isn’t a lead back. You’re not giving him 25+ touches week in and week out. Hell you’re not even giving him 20+ touches week in and week out.

Kamara has only one game with 15 or more carries this year (19). Henry’s fewest carries in a game this season is 18. He’s only had 3 games with under 20 carries (18 and 2 with 19).

They aren’t comparable in any way.

They’re different, Henry doesn’t catch the ball...at all. Kamara is a lethal receiver.

ETA:

And when I’m procrastinating at work tomorrow I’ll revisit with stats.

Henry and Kamara have the same amount of 50+ yard receptions this year.

Trying too hard and you know it.

Kamara has over 600 yards receiving.

Hell no

Henry in a league of his own. He's a freak never seen a specimen like him

6'4 240lb that almost never gets run down when he gets going

Eric Dickerson the closest and still a good bit smaller

He's actually very much like a former Tennesee Titan RB.

Henry has more top end speed than Eddie, but I think Eddie has a bit more shake. Both have similar power.

If people think Derrick gets a lot of carries, they should check out George's stats.

Speaking of Eddie, go watch the playoff win against the Colts. He probably had over 35 carries.

I mean you’re the one who says he doesn’t catch it at all. Don’t blame me for your mishap

True. Totally different era of ball. Guys like Eddie George, LT and Shaun Alexander pounded the ball constantly for their teams.

Neither Eddie George nor Chris Brown were this level of athlete.

Honestly, my takeaways from this besides about Henry, are that Ronald Jones is severely underrated and Alvin Kamara is the monster Saints fans know he is
Not trolling at all..

Jones has been fantastic and it’s fricked that TB keeps giving LF so much run. It almost seems like Brady said frick Jones I want LF in big spots. I don’t get it. LF is fricking trash.

And yes, Kamara is SO dynamic. It doesn’t get any better than him in today’s football.

Both were beasts.

I do agree that Henry is a better a runner than George because he has more top end speed. But they are similar.

I assume you're talking about Chris Johnson because Brown is not even in the same echelon as George/Henry.
