LA kid and seems like some good ability...What's the word on him?

He ran a 4.38 at the LSU combine. However, LSU is only look at Randle, Wooton, and Debose at WR. Don't sleep on Appleton considering we were his favorite for awhile, and he's still never even been to LSU.

Quick kid. Looks pretty good. Will go to either Arkansas or Georgia Tech. Probably Arkansas considering GT isnt going to throw the ball much anymore.
EDIT: Wouldn't say he's quite 6'2 as rivals lists him.

Ricky plays in the district with Lafayette, Pineville, New Iberia, and Westgate. He has Barbe, Sulphur, Catholic, and East St John on the schedule as well.

Where are you currently?

I do not know about that. Seems like no one would want to go there as a pure WR.

Ga Tech will throw more than you think. If teams bring their safety's down when the double wing starts working.

GA Tech's offer is at QB. He really wants to play WR in college. I think his ideal position would be at corner with his size and athleticism. He's not as physical as Janzen but could be as good a cover corner if not better. He's as good of an athlete as we have had in Carencro and he's only gonna get better.

If Ricky Johnson were in the class of 2008, he would have been offered.

Not really. They'll be throwing it much less than Arkansas has been doing in recent years.

Saw him play last year. Versatile with the ability to play RB, WR, and QB. Very fast.

I have been told from a reliable source that his grades are bad, very bad...

You may want to rethink things about how reliable your source is, b/c I believe he is a pretty good student.
