Did you find yourself taking in too much sauce? More importantly, did you realize it and decide to cut it down?
I had been mostly sober for a few months at the start. Boredom won. I have 4 or 5 drinks a night and more on weekends. It hasn't really affected my personal or professional life but I hate the fact that every day when I get home from work there's a battle that I lose. I wake up disgusted with myself.

Sounds like it has affected your personal life if you are feeling disgusted with yourself. I’ve been there, it’s a shitty feeling. And despite that, like yourself and millions of others, I couldn’t stop drinking. I’m 10 months sober now and things are much better. Aa is effective if you follow the program, bunch of good and helpful people that want to help others get and stay sober. Good luck!
