Why Devery will make the team and maybe Skyler too

Receiver Devery Henderson made a pair of tough catches in traffic.
Receiver Skyler Green showed strong hands as he held on to the ball coming out of a cut on an out-route. A Texan defensive back had gnat-like coverage but was unable to keep the completion from happening.

just for clarification, i am a huge tiger fan who loves Skyler and Devery, and I hope they make the team, but you are saying they will both make the team because they had a catch or two in a practice scrimmage? What if some other guys make 3 catches this afternoon?

but you have to pretty damn to stop this guy
not every team has a corner that can stop him

why because he cont catch herpes in whore house? i love lsu to but this is the nfl not the sec and the dude can't be depended on to catch. i know we all want our tigers on our team, but i want the saints to be succesful and have a succesful deep threat. devery isn't helping us with any of these.

He looked great in 2006. He had like 750 yds only starting in 7 games. I mean it wasn't like he was the only reason we stunk it up last year.
I'm hoping he makes the team and provides some big receptions this season.

First off no way in hell Skyler makes the team. Pierre had a kick return for like 58 yards Skyler had nothing. Second if Arrington can make it back Devery is gone too.Just because they played for LSU doesnt mean they are worth a shite. Lets just trade Brees for Matt Flynn.

Well all of Brees' looks weren't to Devery. I mean with your logic, some of Brees errant throws might have cost us the playoffs. Duece going down in the 3rd game might have cost us the playoffs. Reggie's dancing with the stars running style might have cost us. Charles Grant/Will Smith lack of production...

I can't speak for Skyler. He was great for LSU. Not sure if that ever translated to the NFL, but Devery has all of the tools to play in this league. He showed that in 2006. That said, he was shitty last year. Brees for Flynn is dumb. But Devery can play. I say give him one more year to prove it.

fellows we all love the lsu alums that go on to prosper in the NFL. but leave the rantardness on the rant. devery sucks, lance moore sucks, skylar sucks. all of them need to be cut. i hope we can get d byrd in a few years because he will be a reliable deep threat.
i know moore didnt go to lsu i was just throwing him in there in case some one bring. that stupid arse arguement up again.
