I would think it's up in the air at this point. I would have said he'd definitely redshirt if Benton would have qualified. Right now, he looks like the best true frosh, so I'd say he probably gets some PT. My best guess would be that he doesn't redshirt but Jhyryn Taylor and Tim Molton do.

Everybody has been saying we are the D-Line U etc. but I think we should be the WR-U. We have produced some quality WRs the past few years.

He'll play. The Mitchells and Holliday have shown a consistent inability to catch, so that leaves Byrd (sr), Lafell (Jr, who may leave for NFL), T. Tolliver and not much else proven after that.
Peterson plays this year and starts next...and then the Benton era begins in '09.

Starting with Reed in 00 or 01, LSU has had 8 WRs drafted in the NFL.
