agreed...saw it at a movie packed movie theater with a balcony in Houston when it came out when I was 11. Is still the best movie theater experience I have ever had.

Have seen it countless times and introduced my son to it around the same age. He is now 16 and he still watches it every time it comes on.

We watched with my 11 year old daughter a while back and she was blown away !

It’s weird but the film holds up very well.

Especially if you know back story from the first

Growing up we were on vacation as a family in Hawaii and the hotel had those PPV (and surprisingly new releases) and one was T2...

My Dad rented it 5-10 times during that week. It was our movie every night. It seemed like it was always playing on the TV in the hotel room.

Good movie and I also liked the song "You Could be Mine" by GnR that was kind of a theme song for the flick.

It should be exhibit 1 on how to do a movie sequel properly.

Ur right most movie sequels aren’t as good but arguably this is better than the first IMO

I love it and consider it to be one of, if not the very best action movies of all time.

But, Edward Furlong is such a horrible actor that he almost singlehandedly ruins the entire movie. Man, is that guy a terrible actor...

I've been watching a bunch of YT channels lately, where 20-ish year old people watch classic movies for the first time to see their reaction.

While, say, The Exorcist gets a lot of "I really liked it. Great performances. But it's not 'The Scariest Movie of All-Time'. Still it's good for a movie made in 1973" whereas there are certain movies like T2 (& Alien/Aliens) that gets universal praise, with no caveats.

Bobby Budnick would have had a hell of a story to tell at summer camp if he'd only known..

I do have a pet peeve in this movie. After they rescue Sarah and are driving away in the cop car. The T1000 has a small part of his hand/hook/whatever you want to call it blown off. It's still stuck in the car and John throws it off onto the road. The T1000 then walks up and re absorbs it. I get the point of this shot, it sets up what happens later when he re forms after being blown into tiny pieces. Still think John shouldn't have thrown it where he could get it back so easy.

It probably didn’t occur to him.

Agree. It’s one of the few movies I bought on Blu Ray the last few years because it was the special edition with quite a few extra scenes. There’s even a scene where Sarah hallucinates talking to Kyle Reese while she’s in the nut house.
