Like as much as in reading this book? Or just as much as everyone else seems to have?

It's a bit over the top for me too. I don't understand why people hate her so much.

1. Don’t like her as a “person” if that makes sense. But I also just don’t like the way Sanderson writes her.
2. Number one was compounded in Oathbringer with all her interactions with Chad Adolin. Reading them together is torture. The forced, 0-60 romance was torture. Adolin is brick wall boring. Shallan is teen romcom annoying without the ultimate charm. And she was kind of a count to Kaladin. The phony love triangle thing didn’t help matters.
3. Split personality is an interesting wrinkle at the start but can quickly grow tiresome. It’s much better in a visual medium like film. In text, I just can’t take it for very long.
