I feel like it's gotten worse since this whole work from home thing started and I find myself constantly hunched over while working and then just sitting stupidly on the couch when watching football.

Has anyone ever bought one of those posture correcting devices and if so, any recommendations?

Get yourself an office chair for the house.

ETA That’s my problem, I am using a chair for the kitchen table that isn’t cushioned or adjustable.

Stand up often. Ive been in a desk job for 27 years and my posture is shite.

A good chair definitely helps as well. A standup desk would be cool too Ive just never pulled the trigger on one.

Get up and walk around for a few minutes every hour or so. And exercise a little bit each day

Get a stand up desk topper.
I bought one after cervical fusion in May. It made a world of difference and I don't think I could go back to sitting at a desk all day.

I drink water all day (good for you) , so I get up often for bathroom trips.

Do chin-ups/pull-ups and in between reps, hang from the bar. Strengthens the core while stretching the spine. Does wonders for my posture.

I've used a stand up desk. They are not so "healthful" as people reported them to be about 5 years ago. A good chair is fine if you get off your arse and go walking at least an hour a day.

Truweo posture corrector on Amazon.

It’s about the 3rd different one I’ve bought and this one is the most effective and comfortable. Wide bands all around so it doesn’t get twisted or pinched and you can loosen it up to where you barely notice it or crank it down to be completely upright.

Walk a mile after every meal you eat. Itll get you stretched out a bit, give you a mental break, and is great for your metabolism

Are you familiar with “foam rollers?” You can stretch the shite out of your back on it, also it feels like a deep tissue massage. I feel as if it helps posture.

Get a recliner or office chair that is ergonomic. Kitchen table chairs and couches are not designed for prolonged sitting.

My wife uses a ball as a chair - like you would find in a yoga studio. She uses it for a few hours at a time.
